Day 8: I think this will be a new favorite workout. I had a lot of nervous energy today (even though I wasn't nervous about anything, I guess just extra energy) so I decided to go to the stairwell and start walking up and down the stairs. Perfect for a 10 min break.
Okay, now to recap the past week.
Day 3: Cleaning my mother's kitchen to her specifications should not only qualify as a workout, but an Olympic sport. Actually, it wasn't that bad, but I was washing the cabinets so there was a lot of up and down. That combined with some holiday cooking rounded out Wednesday.
Day 4: BERBEE DERBY!!!
Day 5: Friday was super nice so I reverted to my old habits and ran some sprints outside. :)
Day 6: Mini - golf and a walk outside with a friend.
Day 7: Back to nasty weather, plus the cat was wild so, I tied a string to each of two hand weights and tied two of her toys to the ends held them out to my sides and began doing twists. 15 mins later the cat was sleeping like a baby. Score!
Happy Monday!

Day 2
Day 2: Okay, so this is really boring, but today I decided to do v-sits while I watched the news. I needed an ab exercise since my legs are killing me after yesterday's fun and I was told to rest my arms for some extreme cooking and cleaning tomorrow.
Something more exciting to come soon I promise.
Happy Tuesday

Day 1
I love going for long walks outside, it is my favorite way to workout. One problem, I live in Wisconsin, and around this time of year walking outside can become rather ... unpleasant. For this reason I tend to be pretty bad at working out in the winter, so this winter I am going to try something new. Everyday I will try to come up with a new way to get moving every day until next spring and I can return to walking. And I will write about them here.
Day 1: When was the last time you played leap frog? Today I decided to play leap frog in my living room. I should explain I have a nice long living room, so I was able to "hop" across it about 4 times before reaching the other side. Only problem I didn't have anyone to play with. The cat wasn't really getting the concept when I tried to explain it to her. So, instead of leaping over her and getting my eyes scratched out, I taped a string to the back of my shirt that would trail along the ground as I hopped, then I hopped across the room as fast as I could trying to make it to the other side before Jazmyn caught the string. At first I was winning, succeeding in making it across the room before she caught me more times than I failed, but she won the last 24 of the 50 crosses. We both had fun though and now I have just enough time to clean up before sitting down for a new episode of Castle!
Happy Monday All!
